  • The separator trap: if your answers contain commas, a comma separator breaks Quizlet fields — ask Ryna for 'tab-separated' and set Quizlet's import separator to 'Tab'.
  • Ask for reverse cards: 'generate both front-back and back-front versions of each card' trains recall, not just recognition (especially for vocab).
  • Minimum-information principle: 'the 5 causes of the French Revolution' is not one card but five — tell Ryna to 'split lists into separate cards', or 5 bullets on one card won't stick.
  • Don't over-cloze: 4 blanks in one sentence leaves no context; 1-2 blanks per card makes recall most effective.

The cards work directly with Anki and Quizlet. But the spaced-repetition algorithm is run by your app, not by Ryna — Anki/Quizlet decides which card comes back when. Ryna's job is producing good cards; the review discipline lives in the app and with you.

Can it make image-occlusion cards?

Ryna doesn't generate images. But if you ask 'list the 6 labels to hide on this diagram and the correct answers', it produces the occlusion plan; you add the image in Anki's Image Occlusion add-on. With Plus you can also upload an image and say 'turn its labels into card questions' (image analysis/OCR).
